Ed Allen is the editor of the Lake Travis View and Westlake Picayune. He has served as a writer, photographer and sports editor during his 28-year career in the newspaper business and continues to dabble in all of the above. A native of Charleston, S.C., he is a 1983 graduate of the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
