Charles Mead has worked for more than 25 years in communications, on both sides of the camera. He spent the first half of his career as a television news Producer and later Executive Producer for stations in Austin, Kansas City, Chicago, and Houston. More recently, Charles has served as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Capitol Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Having worked as editor and newsmaker, he brings a nuanced point of view on the successes and failures concerning how news is covered and how organizations prepare to be covered by the news. Charles is a happy husband, proud father, and Eagle Scout.
