Haley Meyer, a Texas Tech graduate, is married to Ryan Meyer and a mom of two boys (5&3). She works full time as a contact lens sales Representative for Alcon. Haley has always loved to “dot connect” people to meet the needs of others. Instead of just reaching out to family and friends over and over, She thought she would try to create a platform for other like-minded people.

In November 2017, Haley created Community Helping Hands. This is a group on Facebook that is a one stop shop of over 30 Austin non profits to share needs with the community. This platform has attracted 1400 members in less than one year. Monthly projects allows members to offer direct help without asking for financial donations. A few examples of projects she lead are- book drive to provide a library for The Salvation Army shelter, completed a playroom refresh for Ronald McDonald House, and a new shoe donation drive for Foster Village and adopted teachers. This has become a great way for the non-profit partners to create awareness, get volunteers and gain ways to offer a helping hand.

Non-profit partners include:
The Christi Center
Generation Serve

Austin Allies
