Cindy Brummer is CEO and Creative Director of Standard Beagle, and the company’s founder.

Cindy wears a lot of hats. She is company visionary, leads up business development, and focuses on design, project management and client relations. She has more than 10 years of experience in technology design and development. With a background in television journalism, Cindy knows how to communicate with clients. 

Cindy’s goal is to get better every day. She reads more than 40 books a year and takes additional classes as often as possible. In 2017, she completed an intensive product management certificate through General Assembly.

Cindy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with dual degrees in Broadcast Journalism and History. She was a Senior Fellow in the UT School of Communication and worked part time at Texas Student Television throughout her college career. She began her career as a TV news producer before jumping over to become a web producer and found her passion. She founded Standard Beagle in 2012 after five years of freelancing and working as an in-house web designer/developer. Her team likes to tease her that she has a limited vocabulary because, as a journalist, she refuses to say the word “utilize” in spoken conversation because it’s just too fancy.

For fun, Cindy does boxing and is learning to play the banjo — but not at the same time. Concerts available on request.
