ATX Kids Club is a non-profit organization that educates and inspires youth, ages 4-15, through year-round educational and health-minded field trip adventures in and around the Austin area. Our program provides youth with the knowledge of how to explore their city using the public transportation system and shares the region's culture, history, art, and more! Every day is a Fun-Filled Adventure.

Tammy Miller always wanted to be a teacher. After receiving her B.S. in Elementary Education in the early 90's, positions in the field were limited. Her early career path led her into Corporate America, working in the field of Information Technology/Networking. After close to a decade, and a move to Maryland, she returned to the classroom as a first grade teacher. Several years later, in 2008 and a move to Austin, she continued working as a first and second grade teacher until accepting a position as an Assistant Principal. Recognizing some of the struggles faced by the educational system and feeling less impactful each year, she made the decision to start ATX Kids Club. With her greatest educational memory being the field trips she had taken in elementary school, she wanted to provide opportunities for youth to learn through field trips. This organization is built on the idea that all youth should have the opportunity to learn through exploration and become engaged with their own city. The educational field trip adventures provide opportunities to discover how easy it is to learn while having fun and build stamina.​
