Jackie Nirenberg, Capital Metro Community Engagement Manager

Project Connect is a plan designed to create a system of high capacity transit (HCT) options that will connect people, places and opportunities in an affordable, efficient, and sustainable way addressing the region’s short- and long-term needs. 

Ms. Nirenberg designs, manages and directs public participation programs and events for the Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority since 2015.  She is passionate about evangelizing Capital Metro's mission of connecting people, jobs and community. She manages a team of highly entrepreneurial professionals and promotes a culture of innovation and risk-taking. She is conversationally fluent in Spanish. Jackie is globally minded, a current events junkie, self-professed foodie, lover of live music, travel fanatic, reader, writer and unapologetic optimist.
