Rick is a native of South Texas.  He attended Texas A&I University, which is now Texas A&M at Kingsville, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1973.   He joined Rotary in 1998 and has been a member of the Rotary Club of Marble Falls since 2007.  Rick was Club President in 2011-2012.  He served at the District Level as Assistant Governor and District Trainer before beginning the two year path to his current position.  Rick is a Major Donor, a Rotary Foundation Benefactor, White Hat Society member and a member of the Paul Harris Society.   

Rick joined Deere & Company (John Deere Corporation) in 1974.  At Deere, he held different positions in Marketing, Financial Management, Dealer Development, and Service Administration.  He officially retired from John Deere in 2009 after a 35 year career. 

Rick and Susan have been married forty-five years.  They have two married children and have been blessed with four adorable grandchildren.
