Jeanne Cox has been a Rotarian for 15+ years. She has happily served in leadership of many Avenues of Service as well as serving as President of the Rotary Club of Temecula in Southern California in 2010-11. She also served as a District Peace Fellowship Chair, District Assembly Chair, and Assistant Governor in District 5330, and she represented Latin America on the Rotary Rose Parade float in 2011.
After retiring as a university administrator and faculty member, and traveling full-time in an RV for 3 years, Jeanne transferred her membership to the Rotary Club of Georgetown in 2015 where she introduced the Field of Honor® to the Club in 2016. The first Field of Honor® in Central Texas was launched in 2017.
Jeanne's passion for honoring military and first responders stems from having a daughter that is a Chief Petty Officer and Corpsman in the U.S. Navy (nearly 19 years now), and from having many veteran family members in both the military and as first responders.
