Ed Martin retired from IRS Criminal Investigation after 26 years of service. In the process, he was the case agent for IRS CID that solved the case and recovered the bodies of Madalyn Murray O’Hair and her relatives. In 1995 the O’Hairs were kidnapped from their office and held captive in San Antonio, TX by three criminals for over a month until a $600,000 wire transfer was converted to $600,000 in gold bullion. The same day they picked up the gold they were killed by the three. After the killing of the O’Hairs, they dismembered the bodies and held them in a storage unit in 55-gallon barrels. They then turned on one of their own and killed and dismembered him so the body would not be recognized. The two remaining criminals drove to Campwood, TX, and buried the O’Hairs at a ranch in Uvalde County. There is a surprise ending to this story which will be explained at the meeting on March 26th, 2021. Currently, the only remaining criminal is attempting to get out of prison after being sentenced to two live sentences and serving 20 years in Supermax Federal Prisons. Federal District judge and Rotarian Lee Yeakel will decide the criminal's future.
