Originally from Columbus Ohio and a forever Buckeye, Kelly Marwill, RN has always felt the calling to help others. A bachelor's degree in nursing combined with ICU training and the addition of traveling nursing allowed her to achieve so much more! She has worked in major Level 1 Trauma centers from coast to coast like New York Presbyterian Cornell Weill to UCLA and Stanford Medical Center. Being mobile allowed her to take those nursing skills to the next level with skill expansion in varying areas of medicine and ways of practice and treatment. Her specialty lies in traumatic brain injury, organ transplant, burns and surgical ICU.

Kelly set up roots in Austin in 2006 and started a family. Taking a hiatus from her nursing career, she turned her passion for helping others towards volunteering. She has been active in numerous organizations including the Leadership Society of EEF (Eanes Education Foundation),Past President of the Cedar Creek Booster Club, board member for Pop Up Birthday and new member in the Westlake Chamber of Commerce. She has participated in drive organization for Book Spring, Any Baby Can, Foster Angels, Sock-tober, Ronald McDonald House at Dell and many more.

During the pandemic, her drive to be a nurse returned. She is a substitute school nurse for the Eanes ISD. The shelter at home time gave her the opportunity to take a course in legal nursing and obtain certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant. Legal nursing is the merging of law and medicine. Safe and reliable healthcare is now her main objective. She has recently started her own company - Marwill Legal Nurse Consultants. With over 20 years experience critiquing healthcare across the country in varying healthcare systems, the attorney-clients she consults for use her knowledge, experience and clinical background on their litigation team to uncover the true facts in those voluminous medical records and win cases. The main purpose is to uphold the standards of care while also eliminating non meritorious claims. This ensures providers maintain duty to patients with high quality and reliable healthcare. "I owe it to patients everywhere, to be sure they are provided safe and effective healthcare. In your time of health crisis, the last thing you need is the added stress of can I trust my provider. Enforcing standards of care makes sure that continuum is there."
