Doug Smith is our Governor of District 5870 for the 2024 - 2025 year.

He has been a proud member of the Rotary Club of Temple-South since 2000 where he has held multiple leadership positions, including President, Foundation Chair, Board Member, and Chair of the Neighborhood Flag Project.

At a District level, Doug has been recognized in the District 5870 Roll of Fame for his commitment to Rotary. He has served as the District DAP Grant Coordinator and is a Major Donor 1, Sustaining Member, and Paul Harris Society Member.

Doug and his wife, Lisa, have 5 children: Hailey (& Luke), Calvin, Reagan (& Josh). They also have a Miniature Schnauzer named Charlie, who serves as the unofficial Mascot of District 5870 for Doug's District Governor year.

Professionally, Doug is a Partner in Papergraphics Printing and FastSigns in Temple, Texas. He actively contributes to his community as an Elder at Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
