Our own Westlake Rotary Club member, David Jessich will be showing his license plate collection accumulated from around the world. He spent his career in the oil business working in Saudi Arabia and had the opportunity to visit more than 90 countries.

Most of his collection is from the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia his specialty. He found older plates on abandoned vehicles in the middle of the desert and more recent ones from wrecked cars at the side of the highway.  A few were purchased in junkyards and from other collectors.

He is a member of the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association (ALPCA) and Europlate and has won ‘best of show’ for his exhibits in two regional competitions.
